Covid Related Deaths more than Doubled during Second Lockdown

The second lockdown began on 21st October and lasted for six weeks. Deaths due to Covid-19 during that period rose from 1,868 to 2,086.

In the six weeks to 21st October beginning from 7th September deaths rose from 1,777 to 1,868.

This means that deaths rose at a rate of 11% during the lockdown as opposed to 5% prior to that.

So covid related deaths more than doubled during the second lockdown.

The policy of locking down everybody every time there is a spike in cases should be abandoned but the pandemic is now more about hysteria than evidence.

  1. Where in the ordinary flu gone to? The PCR test cannot differentiate between any flu infection and a case which means all flus including Covid -19 register on the test. Covid -19 is a new strain if the ordinary flu which is more dangerous to some people. Health authorities now accept it is embedded in the population and out of control, This is good news because lockdown will become unsustainable and will have to be ended as futile. Therefore there will be some hardship to a tiny minority from the virus but less from the reaction to it.

The annual seasonal influenza season 2020/2021 is monitored from the beginning of October 2020 to the beginning of May 2021. Generally the influenza and pneumonia deaths peak during the seasonal influenza season. Every year in Ireland there are around 31,000 mortalities that averages around 85 mortalities per day. Of course there are more mortalities in the Winter than in the Summer. Even if we stick with the average of 85 mortalities per day for 6 weeks that equates to 3570 mortalities of which we’re told 218 are COVID deaths (6%). From memory there are about 1000 influenza and pneumonia deaths per annum most of which are most likely to occur during the seasonal influenza season. 1000/7mths (212days)x6wks (42days)=198 mortalities. That roughly equates with that 218 registered COVID deaths over the 6 week period. Most mortalities registered as COVID deaths were generally those who suffered from previous serious illnesses/co-morbidities and often were those who had survived past the national life expectancy. The national mortality rate in Ireland for 2020 appears to be in and around the per annum average of 31,000. Any increases can probably be explained by any changes in national demographics such as for example any increases in immigration numbers, increases in population, increases in the number of elderly etc. Mass Hysteria has been created via fear mongering over a Casedemic. Currently on average about 96% of all those tested in Ireland have tested negative for a corona virus that the HSE is unable to provide proof from their records that they’ve fully isolated the virus known as SARS-CoV 2. Under a Freedom of Information request apparently the labs are ‘cycling’ the RT-PCR tests using a Ct value of 40-45. This means that effectively around 97% of the 4% who tested positive were false positives. That means that only about 0.12% tested positive. According to global statistical data collected by Worldometers about 90% of those who test positive are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms. So that means that only 0.012% have moderate to severe symptoms from which many will recover. Currently Ireland is spending €13.3m per week or €1.9m per day on around 100,000 COVID tests per week to effectively find around 12 people per week with moderate to severe COVID-19 ‘symptoms’ (as opposed to having a fully proven SARS-CoV 2 infection confirmed via a viral culture test) from which many of them will recover. So Ireland is spending over €1m in testing per each and every moderate to severe case found. Add to that the astronomical costs of PUP payments and the devastating impacts on the society and the economy from the draconian and illogical lockdowns. COVID DEBT of €20Bn accrued in 2020 amounts to around €4000 per head of population. The same again is estimated for 2021. And this is on top of €35Bn in borrowings since 2015. So by the end of 2021 that will amount to a total additional debt of €15,000 per head of population of which more than 50% is due to COVID expenditures. In addition Ireland will probably have to borrow money in order to be a net contributor to the EU COVID Fund launched a few months ago on European mainland where key officials including Taoiseach Micheál Martin were found to be somehow strangely immune to adopting the advisory social distancing and face mask wearing measures.

  3. The main stream media are very selective in their reporting of Covid related mortality. It's old people with serious comodities dying. Let us accept that and protect those at risk so the rest of us can get on with life. PS. 76 years old next week.
